Helsinki’s premier rock-pop purveyors Tom Tikka & The Missing Hubcaps have conjured another infectious slice of melody with their latest single “Sweet Surrender”, further cementing their reputation as consistent hitmakers. When creative giants like Tikka and Nolen Chew Jr. of The Star Prairie Project come together, one can only expect wonders – and this is a powerful sequel to the global hit “California Smile”. Originally, the two intended to write separately to come up with one song each; however, their chemistry was so good that they were able to write an entire album.
Produced with vet Janne Saksa’s deft touch , “Sweet Surrender” does not leave the listener indifferent from the very first seconds.
