Some tracks simply get you moving. That’s it! Party Moves does what it says on the tin and it does it with a real sense of fun that is contagious. You’re nodding your head before you even realise that the main synth groove has kicked in. There’s a really easy energy to the track from the start. Nothing feels forced or overly serious. It just settles into a groove naturally and keeps building that good feeling all the way through.

What they made here is really amazing considering it was all made at home. The track is laid out with MOMARZ’s attention to detail and care, resulting in a broad, almost panoramic impression. The synths are flexible and dynamic in these really pleasing ways, and the drum beats under all that are solid and groovy without ever being repetitive. It all snaps together so perfectly. The warmth of the sound is what stands out. It has an analog quality, something that a lot of electronic music lacks. It’s not mechanical, it’s human. It’s all hand-done and all played and placed by hand, so it’s very alive.

The arrangement is interesting throughout. The soft layers and edgier textures dance among themselves, maintaining a high energy level without ever becoming overpowering or cluttered. It has a true sense of space and movement. MOMARZ obviously intended to create something that would make people feel good and get them up and around. Mission very much accomplished. This is the type of song that should be in every feel good playlist. Honest, energetic, and passionate. Lots of fun from start to finish.
